Bookstore Charges Guidelines

Traditional Undergraduate Students (Newberg Campus)

  • Traditional undergraduate students who fulfill all of the following requirements may be eligible to request a book voucher by which to charge books to their student account when purchasing their books in person at the Newberg BlueZone Bookstore:
    1. applied for and completed all requirements for financial aid to disburse
    2. are scheduled to receive excess funds after their financial aid is applied to their student account
    3. order their books between four weeks prior to the start of a semester and before their financial aid has posted to their student account for that semester
  • Eligible students may request a book voucher in person from a Student Financial Services Specialist at the Newberg Campus (Stevens Center, 1st floor).
  • In most cases, students will not be issued a voucher if they are paying monthly or are sponsored by an outside party.
  • Each approved book voucher has an expiration date. If the voucher expires and has not been used, there will be no book charges applied to the account. However, if the voucher is used, the student to whom the voucher was issued will be liable for the amount charged.
  • The charge applied to the student account will be limited to the amount of the actual purchase at the bookstore. The bookstore will not issue change from a voucher.
  • All online book orders must be purchased with a credit/debit card.  If students are receiving financial aid excess funds, they may choose to pay off their credit card if/when they receive their student loan excess funds check after financial aid disburses to their Student Account.
  • VA, Voc Rehab, and Trade Act students must contact Sherri Moore directly to discuss bookstore charge options.
