Can I charge books to my student account?
Yes with the following stipulations:- Graduate Students: Approximately four weeks prior to the beginning of the semester up until seven days before the first day of the semester, graduate students may charge books to their student account and no voucher is required. Within seven days of the start of the semester, students will need to get a voucher from the Student Financial Services Office in Newberg or the Portland Center. After the first financial aid disbursement date for the semester, Student Financial Services can check to determine if an excess funds check is in process. If the excess funds check is in process, students can not charge books to their account. Book vouchers can be issued for those whose financial aid has not yet disbursed and who are anticipated to receive excess funds after their financial aid is applied to their student account..
- Undergraduate Students: A book voucher is always required for an undergraduate student to charge books to their student account. Because financial aid is disbursed the week prior to the start of the semester (for those that have met all of the requirements for disbursement), undergraduate students are able to purchase books with the excess funds they receive. Book vouchers may be issued for undergraduate students whose aid has not yet disbursed and who are anticipated to receive excess funds after their financial aid is applied to their student account.
