Grants & Scholarships
Federal and State Grant Programs
The Federal Pell Grant and the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) is funded by the federal government. Funds are awarded to high need students based on results from the FAFSA. Eligibility for the SEOG is set by both the federal government and George Fox.
The Oregon Opportunity Grant (OOG) program is funded through The Oregon Student Assistance Commission. This grant is generally awarded to high need students as determined by the FAFSA, policies set by OSAC and who are residents of the State of Oregon.
George Fox University awards university grants to students who demonstrate need when filing the FAFSA. If eligible on the basis of financial need, a student may receive a George Fox Need Grant as well as federal, state and other university funds.
Merit scholarships are awarded by the Admissions office at the time of acceptance to the university.
