Returns Policy
TEXTBOOK RETURNS POLICYSave your receipts! You need them to return textbooks for full credit. NO RECEIPT, NO REFUND.
Full refunds are available, with a receipt, during the first week of each semester, with the exception of summer sessions (only three days from the official beginning date of summer sessions... not your individual class).
During the second week of each semester, textbooks are refundable with a receipt and a revised schedule showing student is no longer enrolled in class for which textbooks are being returned.
All textbook sales beginning the third week of each semester (the fourth day of summer session) are final. no exceptions.
Textbooks must be in perfect, salable condition for a full refund. We reserve the right to determine if a book is in perfect condition. Shrink-wrapped books become non-refundable once the shrink-wrap is removed. Be sure you plan on using the text before breaking the seal.
Damaged or marked textbooks will be refunded at the used price.
TEXTBOOK BUYING TIPS
Check with the instructor about optional items before you buy.
Common Complaint: "The instructor said a textbook was required but never used it." Asking the professor during the first week of class about the use of a text may save you from buying unwanted or unneeded books.
BUYBACK INFORMATION
Textbook buyback is twice a year and is scheduled the last three days of fall and spring finals week.
Beat the bookstore cutoff. Sell your textbook immediately after the final, because there may be a limit to how many used books the bookstore will buy.
Encourage your instructors to get their textbook orders in early, then you will be able to sell certain books for up to 50% of the new price, and students will have more used books available to buy.
