Getting Started at George Fox University
|Step One:||Apply for admissions at George Fox University (Enrollment Deposit cannot be billed to the VA)|
|Step Two:||Get started using your VA educational benefits
Print and complete the Students Rights and Responsibilities form. This form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Apply for Financial Aid
|Step Five:||Meet with your Enrollment Counselor within your major or program of study. Any Veteran receiving GI Bill Benefits while attending George Fox University is required to obtain transcripts from all previously attended schools and submit them to the VA School Official (Registrars office) for review of prior credit.
Complete the Veterans Schedule Certification Form each semester to utilize your VA Education Benefits.Traditional Undergraduate Students will be required to complete the VA Payment Estimator at the beginning of each academic year. Please contact Certifying Official for more information.
Additional Important Information
- You may receive retroactive benefits for up to one year before the date you submitted your application. (Not applicable for all chapters)
- Only courses required for the degree program you are admitted to are eligible for VA benefits. If you change degree programs you must notify the registrar's office and the Veteran's Administration by completing VONAPP form 1995.
- Students are expected to maintain satisfactory academic progress to be eligible for VA benefits. Please see the Policies section for a description of this academic policy.
