    Other Information About VA Benefits

If you have questions throughout this step, check in with your veterans’ certifying official at veterans@georgefox.edu. undefined

  3. Even with your VA benefits, there may be more aid available to fund your education. Complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for federal, state and some institutional financial aid.

When your FAFSA form is complete, you will receive a Student Aid Report. Make sure you add our school code (003194) so that George Fox will receive your FAFSA.

If questions come up during this process, email our financial aid office at finaid@georgefox.edu and someone will jump in to help.

  4. Our veterans’ certifying official is eager to meet with you to help you understand all of the educational benefits you’re eligible for. Email veterans@georgefox.edu or call 503-554-2292 to schedule your consultation.

  5. Have you previously attended another college or university, either with or without your GI Bill® benefits? If so, submit transcripts from all previously attended institutions to the registrar’s office at registrar@georgefox.edu for review of prior credit.

Be sure to copy your CAP Coach (Career and Academic Planning Coach) on the email you send to the registrar’s office.

  6. CAP Coaches are enrollment counselors, and they can help you register for your classes once the registrar has assessed your transcripts for prior credit (if applicable).

Planning to use your VA benefits to cover courses taken simultaneously at other colleges or universities? If so, learn more about enrollment at multiple institutions.

  7. The Veterans Schedule Certification Form allows you to utilize your education benefits from the VA and must be completed each semester. You must log in to your George Fox email account to access the form.

If you need to change your enrollment after certification, the Veterans Enrollment Change Request must be submitted.

Have questions about these forms? Send them to your veterans’ certifying official at veterans@georgefox.edu.
