Three years ago snow and ice hit Newberg. The running track became a speed skating oval and all car traffic stopped on the roads. The coffee shops were open for hot chocolate and life could not get any better.
Favorite place to hang out in Portland/Newberg
While I love heading toward the coast in order to facing the fall and winter storms; going to a local coffee shop with family, friends or alone is definitely a pleasure.

I'm married to my lovely wife, Heather and we have two marvelous sons (Caleb, 14 and Samuel 12).
Hobbies and other interesting facts
Movies, family and reading-not necessarily in that order. Road trips are our family pastimes-sometimes wild eyed and bleary.
