Favorite Memory Here at Fox
Every year I have more memories to add to my heart. Working with Patty Findley in Minthorn holds so many favorites. She's one of the funniest and FUNNEST people I know. One year, while I was still working in the School of Education, Kara Hanson and I were in the admissions storage room getting brochures. In the far corner was the Bruin Bear costume. I asked her if I could borrow it for a while. I had so much fun with the head: I'd sit at my desk and when I saw someone coming to the office I would reach under my desk and put the bear head on and pretend to be working, either typing or on the phone. That was fun! I also love to chaperone the 70's dances. Although I always find it funny that most of the songs that are played are from the early 80's. I oughta know! I was a teenager at that time!
Favorite place to hang out in Portland/Newberg
The patio at Coffee Cottage, my backyard watching the birds, taking my dogs for walks in the morning in the neighboorhood and hanging around the SUB during lunch.
Family & Pets
I have been married for 31 years to my junior high first, real love. His name is Wade. My lovely daughters, Brenna and Kalie, both GFU graduates, are gainfully employed and they are two of my best friends. My son, Jesse, is a sophomore this year at GFU.

Hobbies or other interesting facts
I love to read! I also love independent films. (I am a huge fan of GFU's film festival. I also love to cook for people and am looking forward to another summer of cooking lessons with our student employees. I also love to travel. I welcomed the new year in at Nouakchott, Mauritania, traveled the month of May to Papua New Guinea on a juniors abroad trip (with some wonderful people from GFU), spent a week in Australia and in August will be attending my brothers wedding on Spain's Canary Islands. Phew!!
