Multicultural/International Student Services

Multicultural Services exist to help the George Fox community believe and practice the biblical truth that every person is valuable to and gifted by God, and that God creates and celebrates racial and cultural diversity and wants us to join him in his appreciation and celebration. Multicultural Services provides opportunities for students to become more aware and appreciative of one another in terms of diversity-in-unity within the student body. It also provides support, encouragement, and guidance to American ethnic minority students.

Multicultural Club
This club provides a forum for students to explore and celebrate different cultures. As students experience cultural activities together, they experience friendship and mutual support.

Special Events
Every year, Cultural Celebration Week is celebrated in chapel and in special activities. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is celebrated through a special chapel. Each year, students host the Northwest Conference on Racial Reconciliation.

International Student Services
International Student Services exists to meet the needs that are unique to international students on our campus.

Support services provided include personal and academic counseling, as well as information regarding U.S. immigration regulations. International Student Services provides an orientation specific to international students and links students to the support of families within the community through the Fox Friendship Family program. International Student Services also plans a variety of cultural activities for the enrichment of the George Fox University community.

International Student Club
Membership in this club is open to international and American students. The club provides opportunity for international and American students to develop friendships and explore one another's cultures through fun activities and field trips. Through participation in the international club, members develop a more global worldview.
