Will I be placed in the residence hall I mark as my first choice?

What is the timeline for fall housing assignments?
Housing assignments begin in late spring and continue through late August. In some situations, you may not receive your housing assignment until you arrive for orientation. Students who pay their tuition deposit after July 1st will not be placed until all of the returning students have received a housing assignment.

If I don't have a housing assignment after I log into Bruindata, what should I do?
If you have not yet filled out an online housing form, begin by filling one out. New students are placed in housing according to their Tuition Deposit date and the preferences listed on the form.
