Parent Council Committees
The Career Services Committee is a network of professional parents who assist the Career Services staff by developing programs to support existing career programs and new directions. Its members provide career information for students and give Career Services a parent perspective on career-related issues.
The Parents Fund Committee raises awareness for financial needs of the university among parents, thereby helping to meet those needs, as well as providing parents with an opportunity for involvement. The Parents Fund Committee supports projects that directly benefit students.
The Spiritual Emphasis Committee organizes the annual University Day of Prayer so George Fox parents across the nation can collectively uphold their students in prayer. This committee also works creatively to support the students' spiritual experience on campus.
The Outreach Committee works with the Office of Undergraduate Admission to support student recruiting efforts. A parent calling campaign, regional send-off parties, and participation on parent panels for admission events are the primary responsibilities for these committee members.
