When is the application admission deadline? When may I begin taking classes?

Applications are accepted July 1 through December. 1. The deadline for applications is December. 1. Entrance occurs once a year in the fall semester.  The $40 Application Fee is automatically waived for applications submitted by September 30, 2016.

Must I submitt the application once transcripts and references have been received, or can those pieces be submitted separately?

You may submit your application once you have entered all your information. Periodically, we will send you email updates on the status of your application file.  Feel free to call or email if you have questions about your file.

What is the cost per credit hour?

After my application is complete, then what?

The Admission Committee will review applications to determine which applicants will be invited to interview. These interviews are typically held two weekends in February.

The Admission Committee will notify students of their admission status by the end of February. Admitted students are requested to submit a $200 enrollment deposit to secure their spot for the fall.

May I transfer credits in?

The core faculty and the director have the authority for determining the acceptance of specific undergraduate credits that may fall outside the lines of the traditional prerequisites. Transfer credits and transfer students from other physical therapy programs will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Do I have to take the GRE to apply?

Neither the GRE nor any other standardized test is required to apply to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. For more information on application requirements, visit the How To Apply page.
