2011 Summer Science Camp Registration Form
2011 Summer Camp Details:
Who: 3rd through 5th graders (as of Fall 2011)
Where: George Fox University; Edwards-Holman Science Center, EHS 103
When: June 27-30, 2011 (9am-3pm)
Cost: $210 (includes materials students will utilize and bring home)
Registration Deadline: Tuesday, May 31st, 2011; (limited to 20 students)

Topics Include:
- Forensic Science (biology, chemistry, genetics) lessons, activities and games
- Planetarium visit
- Evening with the stars (to be determined by the weather that week)
- Stream Ecology
- Making liquid nitrogen ice cream
Goal: To make science enjoyable while learning
Please bring a sack lunch. Snacks will be provided
Instruction Qualifications:
Teresa Arnold is the GFU Biology-Chemistry Lab Coordinator. She has a Masters of Arts in Science and Mathematics Education. She began teaching middle and high school science, math and health in 1991 and joined the GFU staff in 2003. Mrs. Arnold has been background checked by the Newberg School District where she volunteers GFU-sponsored science lessons.
