Outside of teaching
In addition to my role at GFU I’m also part-time Director of Training and Mentoring with a church planting organization here in the Portland area. I served in local church ministry for twenty years, primarily with adult ministries. My wife Cindy and I have been married for thirty years, and we have two teenage children. For fun I like to spend time with my family (often doing some combination of the following), travel, watch movies, ride my mountain bike, fish (a little), and play music (I'm a mediocre fiddle, banjo, and guitar player, but I have fun with it).
