Extended ClassroomThe MA in Ministry Leadership degree is for individuals in ministry without formal theological education living in any geographical location. It is a three-year, 56-credit-hour degree program with one-week intensives twice a year in Portland, Ore. Summer courses are online.
Expanded Community
- Study with the same group of peers throughout the program
- Begin with a two-day on-site Threshold event that ushers students into their cohort community, the dynamics of the Ministry Leadership learning environment, and the systems needed for success in the program.
- Customize your learning experience with coaching, seminars, and independent studies.
This degree is designed for:
- Church staff for large or medium churches whether paid or volunteer
- Emerging church leaders and church planters
- Small and midsize church pastors who can't relocate for seminary training
- Parachurch leaders, mission leaders, or outside-the-box social service leaders
Application deadline
June 1 for fall semester; only one start per year
