Biblical Studies Specialization
This 12-hour specialization provides opportunities to engage more deeply and at an advanced level in Old-Testament and New-Testament studies and biblical interpretation through original language study. It can serve to equip students who plan on furthering academic study and to enrich preparation for lifelong teaching and preaching from biblical texts.
Who It’s For
Students interested in studying biblical texts and their contexts at a more advanced level; Individuals interested in pursuing PhD or DMin programs; Individuals interested in contributing to the production of knowledge by teaching, writing, preaching, and/or engineering artistic expressions that enhance and provoke deeper learning and Christian understanding.
