Marc holds an Oregon Standard Administrative and Superintendent's License and has more than 20 years of experience as an educator in Iowa, South Dakota, California, and Oregon. He earned his M.Ed. and Ed.D in educational administration from the University of South Dakota. Marc has been on faculty at George Fox University since 2000 and served as director of the administrative licensure (2000-2003) and M.Ed. programs (2003-2006). Marc is married to Kelly going on 25 years and she teaches first grade at Veritas School. Emily is a sophomore at Veritas School and plays on the soccer, basketball, and tennis teams at Newberg High School. Benjamin is in his first year at Hillsdale College in Michigan studying political science. Jenifer graduated from GFU in 2006 and is working as a manager at a Seattle-based coffee retailer and will start a graduate degree program in industrial organizational psychology at Seattle Pacific in fall 2008.

Marc’s research focus is teacher leadership and district/university partnerships/collaboration from a school leader perspective.
