Amber Russell is the director of the university's MBA Professional Track. Russell, formerly admissions counselor for the university's School of Management graduate programs, was the acting director of the MBA program in 2004. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales, working as a customer relations coordinator for MedicaLogic, as a pharmaceutical representative, as director of marketing and advertising for Courtyard properties, and as the assistant marketing director for Nel-Tech Development. She also founded a business designed to celebrate special events.

Russell was on the Board of Directors for the Community Higher Education Coalition (CHEC) from 2003 through 2006.
