Mary Olson is the Graduate Business Program Coordinator and an Assistant Professor of Management at George Fox University's Boise Center. Mary coordinates the MAOL (Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership) program and the MBA program, serving as the faculty advisor for students in both programs. Mary also teaches at the graduate level. Mary has over 20 years of experience in higher education administration and teaching. Before joining the George Fox faculty in 1996, she had been affiliated with Pacific Lutheran University, Oregon Institute of Technology, Boise State University, and the University of Idaho's Boise Center. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Master of Arts degree in social sciences with a specialization in psychological counseling from Pacific Lutheran University. She earned a Ph.D. with a major in Adult Education from the University of Idaho, Boise Center, in 1995. In addition to her professional activities, Mary is an avid runner. She ran her first marathon in 1984 and since then has enjoyed traveling to different parts of the country to participate in running events. Mary lives in Boise with her husband David and their sons Scott (20), Daniel (16), and Benjamin (12).
