Assistant Professor of Management
Jim Steele is an assistant professor of management who has been teaching graduate courses in the School of Management since 2004. Jim has over 25 years of professional and management experience at organizations that include Intel Corporation, Matsushita, and Synektron Corporation. While at Intel, Jim was a speaker and facilitator for advanced management training sessions and a regular instructor for Intel University management courses. In addition to teaching, Jim serves as an advisor and consultant. The HR Certification Institute has recognized him as a Global Professional In Human Resources (GPHR).
Steele earned a Doctorate in Education with a focus on adult learning and postsecondary education from George Fox University, a Master of Science in Management from Marylhurst University, and a bachelor's degree in Christian education from Trinity Lutheran College (formerly Lutheran Bible Institute of Seattle). Jim has conducted extensive research examining learning behavior in a corporate environment.
