About our SPS Students
SPS students are usually working adults who are balancing work, family, and other responsibilities. Our classes are generally held in the evening, since most people work during the day.Students should have five years of full-time work experience to attend George Fox University's School of Professional Studies programs. Studies have shown that students with at least five years' experience possess the maturity and motivation to succeed in our programs.
Our degree-completion programs use an adult-learner model (which builds on past professional experience to reach critical thinking, analysis, and application more quickly) so students without the five years of work history begin with a disadvantage. While business or professional environments are preferred, work experience can be in any area.
