Master of Strategic Leadership

The Master of Strategic Leadership (MSL) degree program is a hybrid program that provides knowledge and expertise designed to develop leaders for organizations, the community, and society. Most organizations seek leaders who possess the following qualities: an ethically and morally responsible vision, an understanding of how change occurs and how it can be managed, sensitivity to the complex problems of organizations, the ability to inspire and motivate people to work toward a common goal, and an ability to find solutions consistent with their mission, cultural competence, and diversity. These professional skills are applicable to virtually any organization and are essential in today’s dynamic world.

This two-year program uses a convenient blend of limited on-site class seminars and Internet communication. Each semester begins with an intensive three- to four-day weekend launch of courses at our Portland, Ore., campus, with the balance of course activities completed online. The onsite-Internet mixture strengthens academic quality and enhances the sense of community that George Fox is known for. Course assignments and workloads are carefully integrated to enable work-life balance and ensure optimum learning.

This program is pending final approval from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).
