George has taught at George Fox since 1990. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, an MS in management of human resources from National Lewis University, and a PhD in management from Walden University.

His teaching is primarily focused in organizational behavior, leadership, management, organizational theory, conflict resolution, and research methods. As a consultant and researcher, his work centers on enhancing organizational and leadership effectiveness, developing vision and shared value systems, improving the use of teams, and connecting management theory with operational practice.

He is currently affiliated with the Academy of Management, Friends Association for Higher Education, and the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society. He regularly serves as a peer reviewer for the Management Education and Development Division of the Academy of Management. He also serves on the board of elders for Harvest Community Church in Camas, Wash.

Living along the banks of the Washougal River, George and his wife Meg are avid outdoor enthusiasts and enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, and cross country skiing. Their latest adventure is learning to sea kayak. George and Meg are proud parents of four children: Daniel, Erik, and Michelle have settled here in the Northwest, while Anna is a sophomore at George Fox.
