The university's home for hoops has transitioned from humble beginnings in two connected barns to games in Miller Gymnasium, leading to conference titles and a 2009 women's basketball national championship.

Then Hester Gymnasium

Hester Gymnasium, also affectionately known as "Hester Dome," originally featured unique open rafters and seated 1,000. Construction began in 1945 and took a couple of years to complete. Hester Gym was later converted into the Ross Center.

Now Miller Gymnasium

Miller Gymnasium (capacity 2,750) is home to the Bruin volleyball and basketball teams. The facility is named for James and Lila Miller, who provided the lead gift for construction of the gym, completed in 1977.
