Pre-Nursing

Nursing is a profession focused on assisting individuals, families, and communities in attaining, maintaining, and recovering optimal health and functioning. It is a science and an art that focuses on promoting quality of life as defined by persons and families, throughout their life experiences from birth to care at the end of life.

Nursing Programs

There are several options for pursuing a nursing career.  You can apply to the nursing program at GFU during the freshman year after you complete the prerequisite classes.  Another option is to complete a degree at GFU and apply to an accelerated nursing program for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing.
