Marcia Bogert serves as an assistant professor of nursing and as a course director, overseeing the junior-level Nursing of Children & Families course and as a medical/surgical clinical instructor at Providence Newberg Medical Center and as a senior-level leadership practicum clinical instructor.

She arrived at George Fox in 2015 with more than 25 years of experience in the nursing field, having worked as an RN and OB/GYN at medical practices in New York and in the Portland, Oregon, area. Her most recent experience includes working as an RN and triage/charge nurse at Doernbecker Pediatrics-Westside in Portland (2011-16).

Marcia has also led three medical missions trips to Tijuana and Maneadero, Mexico. She earned an MSN at Pace University in New York and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from George Fox.
