Joel Gregor earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Willamette University, a master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary, and master's and doctor of psychology degrees from George Fox University. Gregor teaches two or more courses in our graduate program each year and is the clinical director for the George Fox Behavioral Health Clinic. He also teaches various clinical psychology courses with the undergraduate students.

He has experience as a forensic psychologist from working at the Oregon State Hospital and has worked in various children's outpatient clinics. His clinical work focuses on assessment and treatment for the chronically mentally ill and for children and families.

Current research interests include applications of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) adults and for children and families and. Dr. Gregor enjoys spending his leisure time with his wife, two children and their menagerie of pets. He also enjoys swimming, visiting the coast and going to movies.
