What do you do at Fox?
I specialize in teaching design courses. I began work as a lecturer at the university in 2018 but have taught here on an adjunct basis since 2011, specializing in classes such as Portfolio Development for Designers, Professional Development for Designers, and Design Studio.

When did you start working at Fox?
2011

Education/Experience:
A BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC)

What is something you’d like to do in the future?
I would like to teach more – classes focused on graphic design and branding – which is my expertise.

What is something you’re grateful for, appreciate, encouraged by, or excited about?
I love seeing students turn the corner, that moment they really catch on to design and get it. You see immense improvement very quickly when this happens. I had that moment almost 20 years ago and it changed my career. So I get excited when I see it happen for our design students.

What kind of art do you do?
Read. When I don't have to design or teach design. I like to let someone else's art take me over. But the art I do is graphic design.
