I arrived at George Fox from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois, where I worked as an assistant professor of graphic design for four years. I was also a regular lecturer at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2016 and 2017, and I continue to run the mobile design studio I founded, CAPE design, for which I create identities, objects, websites, posters and publications for clients.

Previously, I served as the outreach and education coordinator for the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art at Westmont College (2012-13). I won the President’s Prize for Teaching at Trinity College in 2016 and have showcased my work at exhibitions throughout the Midwest and West Coast and offered presentations at Princeton, Northwestern and DePaul University, among other national colleges.

Personal notes:

I live in Newberg with my wife Kelsey.
