I have taught art history for 18 years at PCC, and recently came back from living in Florence, Italy, where I lived for seven years, while teaching online for PCC. I teach drawing and printmaking.
What is something you’d like to do in the future?
I would like to travel more, particularly South and Central America, and see more of the things I teach about. I would like to make more art, for which I have little time right now. I would like to read more books that are NOT about art.
What is something you’re grateful for, appreciate, encouraged by, or excited about?
My mind, my health, my general attitude toward life, which aims to find the positive in even the most adverse moments that life deals us.
I am thrilled to be part of George Fox University. I feel a connection to the students and faculty through a shared mindset of care and caring.
What kind of art do you do?
Mostly I am a printmaker, but have started to dabble in some bronze casting.
