Camping Minor

George Fox offers two camping minors – one with a programming emphasis and one with a focus on camping administration. Both are 19-credit programs and are overseen by the university’s Christian studies department.

If you are interested in the camp administration field, we offer courses that emphasize the business end of the discipline, incorporating financial accounting and management classes that will prepare you to be a knowledgeable camp administrator and leader.

If camp programming is more to your liking, our camp programming minor includes classes that emphasize field experience, experiential recreational leadership and camp programming and counseling.
