Coaching Minor

Interested in coaching at the high school or collegiate level? The university’s coaching minor offers a 21-credit-hour coaching minor that allows you to customize your course of study to concentrate on those sports in which you have an interest.

All students in the minor take classes that emphasize coaching theory and practice, care and prevention of athletic injuries, exercise physiology and first aid. From there, you have the option to add four semester hours in two disciplines of your choice (basketball, football, baseball/softball, soccer, track and volleyball).
