Worship Arts Minor

Study worship arts at George Fox, a top Christian college

Interested in ministry through music? George Fox’s worship arts minor combines technical musical instruction with training in leading worship.

As part of the 19-credit-hour program, you will take classes in voice, sight singing and ear training, conducting, music techniques (vocal), creating, planning and leading worship, and music and the Christian faith. You will also have the opportunity to perform in one of the university’s musical groups (Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Chorale or Vocal Jazz Ensemble) and customize your study by choosing between courses in piano, organ, keyboard and music theory.
