Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response

Future Bruins! We’re excited to work with you as you consider George Fox University. Many things look different right now, and we want to keep you updated on some of the adjustments we’re making to help you move forward in your college search.

Learn About George Fox Virtually

We wish we could welcome you to campus in person, but in the meantime we want to help you connect with our community! Arrange a virtual campus visit, follow us on Instagram or Facebook, and continue to explore our website. As we find news ways to connect you with current students and faculty, we’ll let you know!

Connect With Us Personally

All of our teams are still working on your behalf, and we’d love to connect. Whether you have a logistical question or just want to talk about your future at George Fox, connect with an admissions counselor or financial aid counselor via phone, text, or video appointment.

Don't stress about transcripts, test scores or final grades right now

We know the situation with your high school is in flux. For now, just know that we will work with you as needed. If you have concerns about the SAT, ACT, or CLT tests, let us know. We feel confident we can find a way forward for you.

  • If your school is currently closed due to COVID-19, we will accept an unofficial transcript at this time. Students will be required to submit official transcripts prior to enrolling in classes. When sending official transcripts, we recommend electronic versions over paper copies wherever possible.
  • If you were scheduled to take the SAT or ACT for the first time in March or April and your test date has been canceled, please let us know. Pending review of your transcript, you may be eligible to have your SAT or ACT requirement waived.

Bruin-bound this fall?

We will start our housing and class registration process in May. Rest assured, every student will have the opportunity to connect one-on-one with an advisor to go over class scheduling. As always, we’ll share more information closer to the time, but feel free to ask your admissions counselor any questions!

We understand uncertainties exist for families right now and you may need extra time to navigate the changing circumstances and make the right college decision. Our housing and class registration process will still begin in May, so make sure you get your enrollment deposit submitted by May 1 if you know you’ll be Bruin bound this fall. But, due to current events, we’re extending our Deposit Refund deadline to June 1.
