Instructions for Testing

George Fox is providing free saliva COVID-19 testing on campus for Newberg students.

  1. Prior to free on-campus testing, each student must register
  2. Students should show up at either:
    1. the time they were emailed (residential students only), or
    2. one of the designated times below
  3. No food or drink 30 minutes prior to testing

All testing will take place in the Miller Gymnasium in Wheeler Sports Center. Students should enter through the single door on the southwest upstairs side nearest the track. Recommended parking: Bauman Auditorium parking lot.

If a student has difficulty going down stairs they should park in the LeShana parking lot, go over the bridge, and enter Wheeler via the east entrance nearest the gym on the bottom floor. Once they enter they should look for a volunteer near the bottom of the stairs to get checked in.

Residential Students

All residential students have been emailed a specific time on Sunday, Jan. 17 between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. If that time doesn't work, they may come on Monday, Jan. 18 between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

After completing testing in Wheeler (or turning in paperwork in Hadlock for an exception) students are cleared to move into campus housing. If students arrive after hours, they may move in and can test the following day.

We ask students to limit contact with other individuals until they have received their test results.
