Jessica Warburton

Assistant Director of Development

Jessica Warburton arrived at George Fox in January of 2020. She loves the fact she works at a place that prepares the next generation to be successful and to be leaders in the world. She also enjoys all the people she gets the opportunity to work with. As assistant director of development, she works with donors to secure donations for the university, specifically working with the College of Education and the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Jessica grew up in a very small town in Texas (population 77) on an emu farm. She attended Texas State University and from there moved to Greece for two years with Cru, an interdenominational Christian parachurch organization for college and university students, and lived in a suburb of Athens.

Upon returning to the U.S., Jessica started working with Young Life in small towns, again in Texas. After five years with Young Life she found herself in Oregon because of a combined love of the outdoors, board games, and coffee, and because she forgot to put any kind of parameters on her LinkedIn profile. One fun fact about her: She read all the books in her elementary school library.
