Our recommended approaches to finding dissertations and theses are, in order:

1. Google
Search with keywords plus:
- site:.edu
- "doctor" and the phrase "partial fullfilment"
- Example: compassionate leadership site:.edu doctor "partial fulfullment"
2. WorldCat
- Go to https://georgefox.on.worldcat.org/advancedsearch
- Set the "Content" limiter to "Thesis/Dissertation"
- Run a search using appropriate terms
- Request items from George Fox via interlibrary loan
3) Proquest
Go to Proquest Central.
Set the Source Type to "Dissertation/Thesis."

4) EBSCO
Search all EBSCO databases
You can limit the Document Type or Publication Type to "Dissertation."

5) George Fox Institutional Repository
Many universities, including George Fox, maintain open collections of works by faculty and students, including dissertations:

Limit search results to records with the Publication Type = "Theses/Dissertations"

Authors are very often happy to send their dissertations when asked!
