Common Data Set

The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort among publishers and data providers in higher education. The goal is to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student's transition into higher education.

The CDS is a set of standards and definitions of data items. Many of the items and definitions in the CDS are used on the annual surveys of several major publishers. More info: Common Data Set.
