Notetaking Services

Several different options are available to students who need assistance with notetaking.

  • The instructor may provide students with copies of their notes or electronic presentations.
  • Instructors may also ask for a classroom volunteer to share notes with the student requiring assistance.
  • Students may look into one of the notetaking tools described below

While the Disability Services Office (DSO) notifies instructors when students in their class(es) have been approved for notetaking accommodations, the DSO does not coordinate specific notetakers. If you have been approved for notetaking services and are not receiving the help you need, please contact the DSO immediately.
