How do I use the catalogs?

A library catalog contains information on all of the materials owned or subscribed to by the library.

The name of George Fox University's library catalog is FOXTRAX

You would typically use the catalog to look for books, media or journal titles, not journal articles.

  1. When using the catalogs, search FOXTRAX first.
  2. IF GFU’s FOXTRAX doesn’t have what you need then proceed to search the SUMMIT catalog.
  3. Materials which are not available through either FOXTRAX or SUMMIT can be requested through interlibrary loan services.
