Annual Events

We believe that the beautiful diversity of the kingdom of God is a fact to be celebrated. Throughout the year, the Office of Intercultural Life sponsors a variety of events designed to introduce, challenge and celebrate our diversity and to provide opportunities for us to go farther and deeper together. Highlights of the year include:

  • The Mosaic Retreat
    Required for all first-year, multicultural scholarship recipients, IL interns, and Peer2Peer mentors. Tilikum Retreat Center Newberg
  • “World’s God Talent” Talent Show
    A multicultural talent show.
  • Cultural Celebration Week
    A weeklong campus-wide celebration co-sponsored by the International Center.
  • Cultural Ambassador Kick-off

  • The Colored White Panel
  • Matheteis 
    Matheteis is an event where we create space for civil discourse around good food in order to dialogue about current issues in society as they relate to biblical perspetives. Sponsored by the Center for Peace and Justice and the Office of Intercultural Life.
