Welcome to George Fox!
This is a place where you can "Be Known", especially as an underrepresented student – whether that is defined by your ethnicity, socio-economic status, or ability. This office is here as a resource and support as you transition into life at George Fox.
We believe that each student brings his or her culture to share but that it also takes stepping out to "Be Known." We are here for you – whether that's as a listening ear, a coffee date, or special events. We want to be a part of your life.
The Office of Multicultural Student Programs serves students and the surrounding community by developing programs and resources that promote multicultural awareness and appreciation. The office educates students on diversity from a Christian worldview, cultivates students' attitudes, ideas, and behaviors as they relate to multicultural issues, and encourages participation in activities that celebrate cultural differences.
Therefore, the mission of the office is to provide greater knowledge and thereby understanding of cultural aspects in God's diverse kingdom.
