Years worked at George Fox

25 years

Favorite Memory Here at Fox

Every year I have more memories to add to my heart. Working with Patty Findley in Minthorn holds so many favorites. She's one of the funniest and FUNNEST people I know.

Working with my student employees continues to provide life-long relationships.  I hope that one day I will be asked to be a flower girl in a wedding. I have the outfit all ready to go.

Favorite place to hang out in Portland/Newberg

My backyard porch in Lafayette. Biking in wine country. In Newberg: Barley & Vine, the Food Carts, Dos Mundos, Chapters and Coffee Cottage.

Family & Pets

I have been married for 42 years to my junior high first, real love. His name is Wade. I have four wonderful adult children:

 Brenna, Kalie, and Jesse.

And I have one adorable, smart, and funny 7-year-old grandson named Cyrus.

If I had known that grandchildren were so much fun, I would have had them first.

One dog:  5 year old Boerboel (South African Mastiff) name Baza.

Hobbies or other interesting facts

I love to read! I also love independent films. (I am a huge fan of George Fox's film festival and couldn't be prouder that my son was a cinematic arts major!) Cooking is also a passion of mine. My dog brings me a lot of joy.  But NOTHING makes me happier than spending time with my family, and grandson.

Typical Coffee Cottage drink you order

Summertime: Iced Americano, triple, with cream. Wintertime: Triple (12 oz.) Americano with cream. New favorite - Dark Chocolate Mocha from Red Hills Market in Dundee.

Favorite Scripture Verse

"He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort that God has given us." 2 Corinthians 1:4

Life Motto

"If you're floating down the river and you don't get wet, you haven't been in the river."
