An alumnus of the seminary, Trenton joined the university in 2014 to serve as a graduate admissions counselor for the seminary. Since graduating with a master’s degree in ministry leadership in 2012, Trenton has worked as a program director for the Portland After School Tennis and Education program, leading a year-round after-school nonprofit operation for 60 at-risk children. He worked for the same organization as a tennis academy director, coach and tutor from 2010 to 2012, and, before that, as a ministry staff member from 2007 to 2010 at the Onyx House, a college-age church outreach in Eugene, Ore. While a student at the University of Oregon, from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 2006, Trenton was a resident assistant in housing from 2004 to 2006. Trenton enjoys playing tennis and is a certified professional tennis instructor. He lives in Portland and attends Theophilus Church in Portland.
