Are you looking for an outlet for your competitive drive? Do you enjoy the camaraderie of a team? At George Fox, you will get the opportunity to compete.
Form an intramural flag football, 3-on-3 basketball or volleyball team with your friends. Or, take the field or court as a member of one of our nationally successful intercollegiate programs.
George Fox offers 15 varsity sports – eight for women, seven for men – and competes in the nine-member Northwest Conference at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III level. We also offer a cheer program for students to cheer on the men's and women's basketball teams.

National championships
We are one of only two Northwest Conference schools to win multiple national team championships at the D-III level.
In 2009, our women’s basketball team went a perfect 32-0 and capped the year by becoming the first school west of the Rocky Mountains to win a D-III national title in basketball. Five years before, in 2004, our baseball team claimed a World Series crown.
Winning tradition
Be a part of a winner. We’ve earned district or conference titles in 10 different sports during the last decade, and more than 300 of our athletes have earned All-American and All-American Scholar-Athlete honors. George Fox coaches have held their positions for an average of almost eight years and together have accumulated more than 1,000 collegiate wins.

Intramurals
At George Fox, we believe everyone who wishes to get in the game should be given that opportunity. Our intramurals program gives undergraduate students an outlet for friendly competition and a forum to build relationships, foster teamwork and create memories.
We offer league sports in flag football, volleyball, 3-on-3 basketball, 5-on-5 basketball, dodgeball, indoor soccer and floor hockey. We also host single-day tournaments in badminton, tennis, golf, racquetball, wallyball and capture the flag.
