    This is your resource for tools and tips to help you become a more effective and efficient learner, offering tutoring services and notetaking, writing, test taking and time management assistance by appointment.

  • Registrar
    This office supports students, alumni, faculty and the institution as a whole by maintaining and safeguarding student records. You may need to talk to the registrar to change your major or order transcripts.

    Whether you wish to enroll in a semester-long study abroad program or simply take part in a Juniors Abroad trip, the Center for Study Abroad is the office to contact.

    This office can help you make a tuition payment, understand your bill, or set up a payment plan.

    From landscaping to marketing, university departments post a wide variety of student positions on Handshake, allowing you to both make money and gain valuable work experience.

    Our veterans coordinator in Student Accounts is available to offer information on policies, procedures and requirements for utilizing GI Bill® benefits to help you achieve your educational goals.

  • Athletics (Intercollegiate)
    The university offers 23 sports at the NCAA Division III level and competes in the Northwest Conference. Join a team or catch a game.
  • Athletics (Intramurals)
    George Fox offers more than a dozen intramural activities, ranging from basketball to dodgeball, many of which are contested in the Hadlock Student Center.
  • Chapel
    This is our twice-weekly time to gather for worship as a community. You can also participate in a Life Group and other opportunities for connection, learning and worship.
  • Clubs
    Have a particular passion? Chances are, there is a club for it. George Fox offers more than 35 student-initiated clubs, allowing you to express your passions and interests, develop leadership and management skills, and enhance your overall George Fox experience.
  • Hadlock Student Center
    This 48,000-square-foot facility is your home for fitness, featuring a 4,200-square-foot Fitness Center, three basketball/volleyball courts, a 40-foot rock-climbing wall, an elevated running track, and two yoga/dance/aerobics studios. The facility also houses student government offices. 
  • Life Groups
    Spiritual life is at the core of the undergraduate experience. These groups, led by faculty mentors, allow for study, discussion and prayer in a small-group setting.
  • Music Ensembles
    You don’t have to be a music major to participate in music ensembles, which include vocal, instrumental and chamber groups. The performance schedule will look different this year than in years’ past, but groups will continue to perform.
  • Student Government (ASC)
    Serve as a class representative or run for one of the other elected positions to work hand-in-hand with the university’s administration on crafting the student experience at George Fox.
  • Student Publications
    Two publications – The Crescent (newspaper) and The Student Collective (yearbook) – give you outlets for journalistic writing or to express yourself through the written word.
  • Theatre Performances
    The theatre department traditionally hosts three main-stage productions each year, as well as student-directed works, evenings of improvisational theatre, and performances by the University Players, the university’s touring theatre troupe. You do not need to be a theatre minor to participate in a production.

Campus Life

  • Bruin Store (Bookstore)
    Located in the Klages Center or online, this is your resource for textbooks, apparel, supplies and university-branded items.
  • Campus Public Safety (Security)
    Contact this office if you need information about parking, policies and services related to safety and security, bicycle and vehicle registration, and the lost and found. Campus Public Safety officers are also available to assist and escort individuals to their vehicles, buildings, or other university locations after normal business hours.
  • The Daily Bruin
    This is your daily source for university news and events, emailed to students and employees based on their location. Submit a Daily Bruin request.
  • Dining
    The Canyon Commons dining hall is open for business, and this year an app is available that will allow you to make a reservation in the dining hall, order food for a future pick-up, and pay using your meal swipes, flex points, or credit card.
  • Fire Pit and Pavilion
    Located in the Canyon, reserve the covered fire pit area for s'mores, Life Groups, or a night out with friends. Log in and reserve it here.
  • Human Resources (HR)
    Interested in landing an on-campus job? This is your resource for all things related to student employment at George Fox. Positions are listed in Handshake through the IDEA Center.
  • Lost and Found (Campus Public Safety Office)
    Lost something? Campus Public Safety is the keeper of all things lost. Items not claimed by specific dates are donated to charity.
  • Mail Services
    Located in the Roberts Center, this is where you mail and pick up packages, and purchase stamps and other mailing supplies. The office also delivers on-campus mail and each year hosts an event for those who need to update their passport.

  • Parking
    Parking permits and vehicle registration are overseen by the Campus Public Safety Office.
  • Residence Life
    Dedicated to nurturing community at George Fox, this branch of the student life office oversees residential living, including the hiring and resourcing of resident assistants, while encouraging relationships of depth and introducing students to various faculty and staff.
  • Student Life
    Want to join a club, develop your leadership skills, serve others, or deepen your walk with Christ? The Office of Student Life is your resource for exploring these passions. The office also assists with issues related to residence life, campus services, health and counseling needs, and your transition to college life.

Support Services

  • Bruin Community Pantry
    Available to all students, this service is designed to address food insecurity on campus, offering a food bank, located in Room 110 of the Roberts Center, and assisting in connecting students to Newberg and Yamhill County resources.
  • Disability Services
    The university is committed to providing equality of opportunity and meaningful access for qualified students with physical, psychological, attentional or learning-based disabilities. This office is the primary resource for students needing academic adjustments or modifications and for faculty needing information.
  • Diversity Initiatives & Programs
    The university sponsors diversity initiatives that include the Act Six and Lead Mentor programs and an annual multicultural leadership conference. It also provides funding for students and employees to attend the annual Student Congress on Racial Reconciliation event. 
  • Health & Counseling Center
    This is your resource for medical and counseling services on campus. 
  • Intercultural Resource Center
    Through programs, events and resources, this office is dedicated to fostering a welcoming space for students to engage in meaningful conversation and hear one another’s stories, and to creating an environment where a diverse community can flourish.
  • Institutional Technology (IT)
    All things related to technology, from computing to network security to media production services, are overseen by this office, located on the third floor of the Stevens Center.
  • Sexual Assault and Sexual Misconduct Reporting (Title IX)
    The university is committed to providing a Christ-centered community that fosters a safe place to live, work and learn for students, employees and visitors. To that end, confidential on-campus and off-campus resources, as well as a Title IX team, are available for support if you wish to file a report of sexual misconduct. 
  • Spiritual Life
    Committed to students’ growth in Christ, the Office of Spiritual Life oversees chapel, Life Groups, service trips and ministry opportunities that have a local and global impact. Pastoral counseling is also available.
  • Student Support Network
    This small team of faculty, staff and administrators represents a variety of departments who confidentially discuss appropriate and timely interventions for students in need of assistance or support. This group also administers the Student Emergency Fund and Textbook Assistance Fund.
  • Virtual Learning Center
    This service offers one-on-one writing assistance free of charge to George Fox graduate and adult-degree students.

    Many professors use this site to manage their aspects of their classes. You may be directed to Canvas to find a course syllabus, turn in an assignment, take a quiz, post in a course forum, and more.
  • Email
    Email at George Fox is provided as customized Gmail hosted by Google and part of the G Suite Core (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
  • George Fox Mobile App
    Check your grades, order food, schedule classes, and more on the app. Download from the iOS Apple store, and the Android Google Play store.
  • Library
    Featuring a 24/7 study room, collaborative learning spaces, 30-plus public computers, a computer lab, the university archives, a periodicals collection, thousands of volumes for check-out, and a special collections room, this is the ideal space to study and find educational resources.
