Library Media Endorsement
Library Media specialization courses are a blend of short, intensive class meetings, engaging online classes, and on-site practica. Oregon endorsement summer classes meet at our Newberg campus (affordable housing is available for long-distance students); spring and fall classes are taught mostly online with two Saturday classroom seminars.
Students seeking the library media endorsement may declare this as a specialization within their Master of Education program or complete the specialization courses as an endorsement-only program. Upon successful completion of the coursework, and passing scores on the School Library Media Specialist NES exam, candidates can be recommended for a Library Media Endorsement on their existing teaching license.
