The goal of Institutional Assessment at George Fox is to promote excellence in student learning and educational practices by establishing and maintaining a culture of on-going self-evaluation and improvement. The primary role of the Director of Institutional Assessment is to provide guidance and support for all academic departments in assessing effectiveness and enhancing best educational practices. The Director provides support and oversees assessment and evaluation of:
- Student learning outcomes at the course, program, and degree levels.
- Learning outcomes related to the University's accreditation by the Northwest Commission of Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).
- Specialized accreditations held by other colleges and individual academic programs.
