What is the homecoming court?
Homecoming has been an annual tradition at George Fox for well over 70 years, always aimed at promoting school spirit and celebrating the return of alumni to the campus. In 1952, the first homecoming royalty was selected, as Barbara Blake was crowned Homecoming Queen. The intent of this new tradition was to honor students who best embodied what it meant to be a George Fox student: academically, spiritually, and through campus involvement. In the years since its inception, this tradition has continued to honor students who best represent George Fox University.
This year the Homecoming Court will participate in some alumni activities Saturday of homecoming week, and will be crowned during half time of the men's basketball game Saturday night.
