Anti-Virus Protection

In all cases you must assume that at some point your computer will be exposed to malicious software commonly referred to as a virus or worm. Your computer must be protected from this threat, and you are responsible to install an anti-virus solution on your computer and keep the virus definition files up-to-date. The virus definition files are provided to you online by the manufacturer of your anti-virus product and will allow the program installed on your computer to identify a virus or virus-like activity if your computer should encounter such a situation. There are several reliable products on the market, most notable are:

Norton Anti-Virus
McAfee Anti-Virus
AVG Anti-virus (free)
